Anglia and possibly even the Escort. The cap is finished in high

chrome plating with a neat little stainless steel lock cover, stamped

1016 This
trim clip is a copy of the Ford item used to secure all sorts of
finishing
trim up to 1959. The commonest use is the front grill and bonnet side
trims
on all upright Anglias, Populars and Prefects. Thirty-four are needed
for
a pair of grill trims and the same number are used on a pair of bonnet
side grills. It will also fit American Fords and is used on 34 grill
trims
as well as other models. Ford part number 943658. |

Door
Repair Panels |
| These
Popular and Anglia panels allow you to repair
a rust damaged door. The outer
skin has the correct shape and is complete with the standard reveal. It
also has the lips nessary to secure it to the base of an inner panel.
The panels are very well made. |

Steering

0100/I At
long last we have produced a version of our popular stainless steel
steering
column modified to accept an indicator switch (PBS
1550 -
can be supplied fitted at extra cost).
The switch is fitted with a green
knob on the end, which flashes when the indicators are used. Wiring for
the indicators are hidden in the column with an exit hole under the
dashboard.
The column in the picture is shown fitted with our 2” drop, which
works
well for early rods such as Model T’s. |

Gearbox
Mounts |
| We
are
introducing a range of gearbox
mountings to go with our transmission cross member. The first of these
can be used with the type 9 Ford 5 speed gearbox as used behind Pinto
OHC
engines. It should suit a range of Ford gearboxes such as the 2000E
&
105E models. A micrflex bush is used to provide a degree of both
insulation
& movement. The tags can be revolved to raise or lower the gearbox
in relation to the centre of the cross member. The mount is shown with
our crossmember tags PBU
2012 for
a round crossmember but both PBU
2008 D-shaped tag

2009 ,
our curved tag could be used when fitting a square box cross member. |

Prices |
| We have
reduced the prices on selected
GRP [fibreglass] panels with effect from September 2000. All wings have
the correct edging beads & attachment flanges. The boot lid inners
are exact copies of their steel counterpart & are slightly oversize
to allow for body variations. The roof panel is almost impossible to
tell
from the standard fabric roof but has an overlap on all edges to allow
for Chopped bodies or those with rust damage around the roof opening.
Extra
length allows for chopped vehicles as the roof opening grows & we
recommend
a special seal - full fitting instructions are supplied. |

"Bobtail" |
Classic Fabrications USA in California are now carrying stocks of our
1927 Bobtail body including the version with the separate double skin
door,
all ready for you to hang. Ask about the matching dashboards! Two
versions
are available, one plain and one with a Model B insert moulded in to
it.

We
reintroduced our 1927 “Bobtail” a while ago and it is
proving very
popular. With a built-in floor, prop shaft tunnel and a slightly
extended
cockpit area to allow for a lower seating position it has proved to be
an excellent starting point for a “low buck” fun open car.
To make life
easier there is the option of an opening left hand, which is double
skinned
for strength and already has mounting plates for hinges and a door
catch
bonded in. The inside skin has a large dimple in it to allow for the
fitting
of a pocket at the upholstery stage or can simply be painted if you are
building a simple car; the shape greatly increases the rigidity of the
door. |
