Vauxhall HA Bushes Viva Front Spring Bushes These replacement bushes are produced in a modern Poyl material with a stainless steel liner. They replace the standard bonded rubber, which is now almost impossible to find and require no modification to fit. Not only do they improve the ride they are easier to fit and long lasting. They are available as part number PBC 3003 for a spring set and cost £22.50 exc. VAT. Wishbone Bushes These bushes are designed to replace the standard Vauxhall items. They are moulded from a modern polymer with a stainless steel inner liner for long life and easy assembly. The top bushes PBC 3001 replace the Vauxhall number 6375365 and the bottom bushes PBC 3002 replaces Vauxhall 6368854. Both set of four cost £38.95 exc. VAT. Baseball Caps We stock three versions of our baseball cap. All have the same design embroidered on the front and our logo on the back.  They have an adjustable strap on the back and white edging to the peak.  Our children's cap does not have the white edging  but it otherwise identical and being adjustable will fit most heads. Now using laser cut 3-mm mild steel plates for greater accuracy. Boxing will increase the torsional strength of your chassis & simplify the fitting of cross members. Each of the 12 plates is stamped to show the assemble sequence & full instructions are supplied. Access holes are provided for the standard body mounts, though tapped steel blocks could be welded into the rails before the boxing plates are attached. Price (*): £79.50 exc. VAT Rover Transmission Mount Just added to our range of Universal engine & gear box mounts is a version for use with Rover GM 180, Borg Warner type 65 & 35 as well as the 4 & 5 speed manual gear boxes. It comes complete with Micro-flex insulator & fitting bolt. Will suit other transmissions using 10-mm or 3/8" diameter bolts on 70 to 85-mm centres. VAT Rover Block Hugger Headers We have changed our stainless steel Rover block hugger, they now have flanges 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 linked to insure a better fit and reduce the risk of distortion. Tight bends mean that they only measure 3.25” (80-mm) for the head to the widest part of the header. The 2” down pipe liberates more power and allows for a wide choice of exhaust components. We now include a pair of front pipes which slips over the manifold down pipe and can be set up to suit the height of your exhaust system. Also shown are our special Asbestos free exhaust flange gaskets produced from our drawings to match our flanges. The stainless steel socket headed manifold bolts allowing easy fitting into the tight space between the primary pipes. We also produce a version of these headers in mild steel. VAT PBP 1009 Stainless steel socket headed bolts (set of 16) £10.50 exc. VAT Four Bar Rear Suspension Our 4 bar kit consists of 4 adjustable bars, up to 36” long, produced in 7/8” O.D. CDS thick wall tubing & TIG welded. Boxed laser cut axle & chassis brackets; high tensile bolts and nylock nuts are also included. Also shown is our Panhard rod kit with front mounting axle bracket. This allows the rod to cross the nose of the differential keeping the rear of the axle clear and using up dead space. We can supply any length. A pair of our rear axle damper brackets are also shown. Again laser cut plates are TIG welded together and high tensile cap head bolts with safety washers and damper spacers are supplied. There is a choice of three damper positions. We can supply top damper bolts also shown and cross members to mount the dampers (not shown). VAT Iron Cross Tie Strap This is our first billet tie strap and was two years in the development stage. Machined from a solid alloy billet using the latest digital CNC Technology, our new Iron Cross design is then satin-finished with semi-polished highlights. Raised rings are built-in to prevent marking by the fulcrum nuts and the billet material is much stronger than a cast alloy. PBJ 3002 costs £35.95 including VAT. Valve Cover Conversion Kits Our Valve cover conversion kits allow Rover V8 engines to be fitted with various after-market Chevrolet and Ford valve covers. It is now easy to add that sense of authenticity to your Rover- powered Cobra by adding Shelby or Powered By Ford alloy valve covers.  For street rodders, the wide choice offered by manufacturers such as Edlebrock, Billet Specialitys or Offenhauser means that every taste can be catered for. The conversion is based on a 10-mm laser cut plate, which is permanently bolted to the Rover cylinder head with holes tapped into it to suit the valve cover of your choice. A full set of instructions and all necessary bolts including stainless steel cap head bolts for the new covers are included. We also stock a conversion for Chevrolet engines, which allows the use of Ford valve covers, perfect for Ford street rods or Chevy powered Cobras. Additional items are re-usable rubber valve cover gaskets for both the Chevrolet and Ford valve covers. Every engine expels coolant as it gets hot - a small block Chevy, for instance, can push out up to a quart. That usually goes onto the floor, but with a recovery tank in the system the expelled fluid is drawn back in as the motor cools down. We stock three tank sizes, all in polished stainless steel with a knurled alloy screw cap. The three sizes are PB0 0700/13 = 13”, PB0 0700/15 = 15”, PB0 0700/17 = 17”. I suggest you fit the largest you can into your vehicle as they are all the same price at £42.13 exc. VAT. Extended Alternator Bracket Thanks to Dave Cowler for the use of his 1934 Coupe used in the photos Designed for the Rover V8, this bracket PBA 0300/E moves the alternator further away from the engine block compared to our existing bracket. This allows the use of the larger, later alternators such as the Bosch/ Lucas LRA 604. More room is available around the rear mounting bolt, which in some cases could foul the cylinder head as well as providing a larger range of adjustment. The alternator extends out 115-mm from the mounting holes in the timing cover to the extreme edge when using full adjustment. The centre of the alternator pulley sits 50-mm higher than the centre of the crankshaft pulley. The bracket costs £42.00 exc. vat and requires a different, slightly longer fan belt PBA 0310/E at £5.65 exc. VAT. Low Level Handbrake This is as near as I can find to the old Austin Allegro handbrake. It is 270-mm long with a pair of mounting brackets using 9-mm holes on 105-mm centres. It extends approx. 90-mm above the mounts & 40-mm below. Two ratios are built in, 6.67:1 & 4.55 with 8-mm holes for clevises. A moulded black handle is fitted with the lever.
